David Albert Schoeneman died at his home at Sioux Falls South Dakota on Tuesday June fourteenth 1910. He was born in Dodgeville Wisconsin on December twenty- eigth 1872. He moved to Lyon county in 1893 and engaged in the Lumber business soon after. In 1906 he was made the vice president of the Schoeneman brothers company and in November of that year he moved to Sioux Falls and took the management of the company’s big year at that point. Mr. David Albert Schoeneman was a prominent and progressive businessman and he had accumulated considerable wealth.

He was a prominent member of the Knights of Pythias, Modern Woodman of America, Oddfellows and Modern Brotherhood of American lodges, In 1897 deceased was married to Miss Lilian Scott and two girls were born to this union one living.

Funeral services were held on Friday June seventeenth from the M. E. church at George Iowa. Rev. Underwood —pastor of the Christian church at Sheldon conducted the services. Interment was made at George Iowa—the old home of the deceased. Deceased is survived by his life partner Mrs. Lilian Scott Schoeneman—one child Inez Marcella and five brothers and three sisters as follows: Otto of Sheldon, Robert of Long Beach California, Frank of Hawarden, Alvin of Sioux Falls, Charles of Hawarden, Mrs. J. H. C Baumann of Milwaukee, Mrs, E H, Reimann and Mrs. L F. Steffen of Hull Iowa. The funeral was a large one as deceased had very many friends.

The following were present from a distance Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Scott and Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Beans of Sheldon, James Scott of Huron South Dakota. Miss Allie Ladd of Inwood, Mr. and Mrs, M. J. Quinn of Rock Valley, Herman De Vries. and Jake De Boer of Hull, and Messrs and Mesdames J. H. C Baumaun of Milwaukee, A. F. Steffen of Hull, E. H. Reimann of Hull, F. B. Schoeneman, J. H. C, Schoeneman and S. Brunskill of Hawarden. . Funeral services were held on Friday June seventeenth from the M. E. church at George Iowa. Rev.
