Roy Wilkison's Father Dies Suddenly
T. E. Wilkison of Odebolt, father of Roy WiFtison of Hawarden, passed away suddenly Monday morning, March 26th, while he was engaged in doing some plowing. Mr. Wilkison was plowing at the H. C. Simon place and he was removed to this home when he was stricken suddenly and he lived but a few minutes after that. Although he had not been in the best of health for some time he was able to be up and around most of the time.

Thomas Edwin Wilkison was born at Mt. Paulaski, IL., March 14, 1856, and so was a trifle over 72 years of age at the time of his death. He grew to manhood in Illinois arid on Sept. 5, 1877, he was united in marriage with Ida F. Williams, After their marriage they lived at Harristown and Hamilton, IL., until 1883 when they moved to Danbury, Iowa. In 1910 they moved to Odebolt and since that time they have resided there. He is survived by his wife and four children, Charles A. of Beresford, Mrs. Bessie Snow and Mrs. Emma L. Wegner of Odebolt, and Roy O. of Hawarden. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and one great grandchild, and one brother and five sisters.
