Funeral services were held on September 20, at the Hudson Lutheran Church for Clarence Larson, 57, who passed away following a two-month illness. Reverend O.V. Everson officiated. Roger Evanson as soloist and Mrs. Roger Smith was organist. Burial was at the Eden Cemetery at Hudson under the direction of the VanDeMore Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Spencer Paulson, Burton Fredrickson, T.E. Quarnstrom, Clarence Nygard, Alvin Lingscheit, and Paul Gubrud. Honorary pallbearers were Bailey Horner, Gilbert Horner, Gilbert Ryken, Noble Hagen, Joe VandeMore, Floyd Torkelson, Rex Smith, Oliver Sorlye, and Harry Miller.

Mr. Larson was active in local 4-H work, was a director of the State Bank of Hudson, a member of Eden township board of Supervisors, and a member of the Hudson Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
