J. Schuller died at his home near Newkirk on Friday evening June 10, 1910 of diabetes. Mr. Schuller was born in the province of Noord Brabant Holland on July thirteenth 1841 and was married on March 27th 1866 to Adriana Dorschman (Dorsman).

The young couple came to America two years later and settled in Holland settlement in Wisconsin. In 1872 Mr. Schuller brought his family to Sioux county where he has lived ever since and successfully tilled the soil and reared a large family. The deceased is survived by a wife and ten children the oldest of whom is forty one and the youngest nineteen. A sister residing in Holland also survives him. The children are: John, Kreyn, Dick, James, Mrs. Gerrit DeKruif, Anthony, Peter, Hubert, Neal and Myron all of Sioux county. The funeral was held on Mandy from the Reformed church at Alton Rev. Van Duine conducting the services. Interment was made in Nassau township cemetery.
