Conrad Bennett of Wilmington Del., 67, who grew up in the Chatsworth vicinity, died Tuesday after an illness of many months. Even though he had been in failing health, Mr. Bennett was able to be at his work until a week before his death. Funeral services will be held on Friday. Mrs. Orin Harris of Akron, a sister of Mr. Bennett, and her son, Grin, left Tuesday evening for Wilmington to attend the funeral.

A son of Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Bennett, he was born on the Bennett farm near Chatsworth June 15, 1887. He was graduated from the Akron high school and later attended a business college in Des Moines.For many years he was connected with the glove factory in Grinnell, Iowa. While there he was married to Miss Florence Bye. Later he moved to Wilmington where he resided a number of years.

Besides the widow, he is survived by two children, Keith of Wilmington, Del., and Mrs. Miriam Panepinto, Spring Mound, Pa.; a brother, A. L. Bennett of Santa Rosa, Calif.; two sisters Mrs. Orin Harris of Akron and Mrs. M. O. Larson of Hawarden and seven grandchildren.
