Final Services Held Here For Mrs. Finch, 89
Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Finch, 89, sister of Mrs. Anna Finch of Hawarden, were held at 11 o'clock Monday morning at Zion Lutheran church in Sioux Falls. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery at Hawarden beside her husband.

Mrs. Finch was born January 28, 1872 and died October 16. As a child she made her home with the family south of Alcester. She married Foster Finch, a brother of Del Finch of Hawarden who was accidentally killed many years ago when the children were small. Following her husband's death Mrs. Finch lived in Missouri for a while and later made her home with her father in Sioux Falls. Four years ago she went to Inglewood, Calif., to live with her children.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ada I. Hille and Mrs. Amy Whitmen, both of Inglewood, Calif.; two sons, Leo Finch of Inglewood and Ora Finch, living in North Dakota; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Struck of Alcester and Mrs. Anna Finch of Hawarden; three brothers, Will, Ed and Elmer Bahnke, all of Beresford, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Those from here attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Kay Finch, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cooper and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Allen

(The 1900 Census of Prairie, Union SD lists Foster Finch 23 years wife Minnie E. Finch 28 children Leo 2, and baby 8 months. Foster died in 1903)
