Funeral services for Meda M. Pollock, 90, Hawarden were held Wed. Feb. 18, at 1:30 p.m. at the Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden with Rev. Herbert Young officiating. Mrs. Hal Shoemaker was the organist and Mrs. Ralph Gregg Jr. sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In the Garden". Casket bearers were James McCarthy, Dennis Newman, Roy Mapes, Lowell Johnson, Douglas Johnson and Lance Johnson. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Pollock passed away Mon. Feb. 16, at Mapes Nursing Home where she had been a patient since 1963.

She was born Jan. 30 1880 at Millersburg the former Meda Mae Andersen. She resided at Storm Lake before her marriage to Arden R. Pollock on Nov. 9, 1929 at Sioux City. She lived in Sioux City for 8 years before moving back to Storm Lake where she made her home before entering the rest home in Hawarden.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ben (Edith) Newman of Hawarden and two nephews, Richard Newman and Keith Newman of Alcester and Hawarden.
