Mrs. James Owens, Former Resident, Dies in Illinois
Mrs. James (Jim) Owens, 77, of Shelbyville, III., a former resident of Hawarden, died Sunday, February 12. Mrs. Owens had been in poor health for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Owens lived on a farm just north of town for a number of years and later they owned their own farm northeast of Hawarden. About ten years ago they sold their farm and moved to Shelbyville. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America lodge in Hawarden. Funeral services were held at Shelbyville. She is survived by the widower.
There were no children.
