Plato Township
This community was greatly shocked last Wednesday afternoon when word was received from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, stating that William Frederick Ranschau was killed in a fall. William son, of Mr. and Mrs. John Ranschau of Plato township was born April 14, 1913 in Plato township, was baptized and confirmed in Peace Ev. Lutheran Church in Plato Twp. and was a faithful church worker. In 1936 he went to Milwaukee, Wis. and at the time was working with the Wulf construction company and the building they were building was nearly finished when he fell which caused his death. At the time of his death he had reached the age of 26 years, 3 months and 12 days. He leaves to mourn his early departure, his parents who live in Plato Twp. 4 brothers, Carl of Milwaukee, Herman, John and Henry J. all living here; 5 sisters, Elsie Smith of Lester, Minnie Pulzer of Milwaukee, Meta Baatz, Emma and Alma of this vicinity.
A host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Ev. Peace Lutheran Church in Plato Twp and burial on Cemetery near the church.
