Funeral services will be held at Peace Lutheran Church west of Sioux Center at 11 a.m. Thursday December 28, 1972 for Mrs. Henry R. Ranschau, 63, of rural Rock Valley, who died at the Rock Valley hospital December 26, after a long illness.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Eugene Soland and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Ranschau the former Lena Bantz?? (Baatz) was born June 5, 1909 in Rock Valley and was a lifetime resident of this community. She married Henry Ranschau Jan. 14, 1937 at Canton, S. D.

Survivors include the widower; daughters Mrs. Walter C. (Shirley) Moore of Rock Valley, Mrs. Orville (Carol) Rehder of Hawarden, sons, Rodney, Billy, Larry and Dale, all of Rock Valley, five grandchildren; three brothers, John of Luverne, MN, Matt of Rock Valley, and Albert of Luverne, and Mrs. Herbert Wood of Hawarden.
