Died: 1965Funeral services for Herman Schultz, 83, a resident of the Mapes Nursing Home for the last five years where he died Friday morning were held at 3:30 Saturday afternoon at the Barnard-Dow Funeral Home.
Reverend Norval Wigtil of the American Lutheran Church officiated. Interment was in Grace Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Schultz was born March 14, 1882 at Council Bluffs, Iowa, a son of William and Paulina Peterson Schultz.
He came to Hawarden from Davis, South Dakota, in 1922. He never married.
There are no known survivors.
