Lambert Post, age 39, formerly of Middleburg died last week at his home near Bigelow, MN. Mr. Post had recently attended the General Synod of the Reformed Church, and while there is thought to have contracted a poisonous infection. When he got home he complained that he was not feeling well. His condition became steadily worse in spite of the best medical efforts.

In 1927 Lambert enlisted in the navy and served throughout the war. Since his discharge he has farmed near Bigelow, MN where he was a member of the Legion Post. He was well known and respected in this community, being prominent in church affairs.

The funeral last Monday was conducted at the church in Bigelow by Rev. Harmelink and at the Middleburg Cemetery by the Wegman Legion Post of Hull.

The burial at Middleburg places the remains of Lambert among those of his relatives. His parents died many years ago leaving the deceased and his brothers and sisters orphans. All of these too have died except one brother and one sister. He is survived also by his wife and seven children.
