Funeral services for Mrs. William Kelly, 87, longtime Hawarden resident who died Sunday at the Hawarden Hospital, were held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Barnard Funeral Home. Reverend Michael Strom of the Baptist Church in Akron officiating. Burial was at Grace Hill Cemetery here.

Mrs. Ralph Gregg, soloist, sang “Abide With Me” and “In the Garden.”

Pall bearers were Donald Goodrich, Ernest Goodrich, Jr. Jerry Johnson, Richard Goodrich, Lloyd Strong, Jr. and Marvin Schwiesow.

Mrs. Jane Kelly was born July 16, 1874, at Fennimore, Wisconsin, where she spent her girlhood. There she married Albert Goodrich and they came to Hawarden.

Following the death of Mr. Goodrich, she married William Kelly of Antigo, Wisconsin, in Hawarden where she continued to live until her death.

Survivors include the widower, William; three sons, Ernest Goodrich of St. Paul, Walter Goodrich of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Lowell Goodrich of Hawarden; a daughter, Mrs. Goldie Barr of Hawarden; 23 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
