Charles Fox died at his home in Hull May twenty sixth after an illness of several months duration. Deceased was born in Lincolnshire England in August 1833 and was therefore near seventy seven years old at the time of his death.

He came to the US in 1871 and had lived for a number of years in Sioux County. By profession he was a stationary engineer. He was married to Elizabeth Battle at Lincolnshire in 1871.

Six children were born to them and four live to mourn with their widowed mother. They are Tom Fox of Fremont NE, Harry Fox of Volin SD, Mrs. Will Fobes and Miss Ada of Hull. Funeral services were conducted Saturday last from the home by Rev. Irwin G. Smith of the Hull Presbyterian church and interment was made in Hull cemetery.
