Mrs. Herman(Neeltje Oosthoek) Kluis, born Oosthoek passed away very suddenly on Monday morning, November 12.

She was born January 3, 1875 in Haarlemmermeer, Zuid Holland, the Netherlands, and came to America in 1916.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband and five children: Dick, Maurice, Margaret, Mrs. Dallas Grandia, Detroit, Michigan, Arie, Slayton, Minnesota, Felix, Chandler, Minnesota, and Mary, Mrs. William Hulstein, Sioux Center.

She is also survived by three sisters, two in Holland and Mrs. Int Velt, Sioux Center.

Three sisters and a brother are gone before.

There are nineteen grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the home at 1:00 o'clock and the First Reformed church at 1:30 on Thursday, with Reverend H. Colenbrander officiating.
