Died: 1983Henry Kaschmitter, 85, of Sheldon died Tuesday in the Sheldon Hospital.
Services will be at 11 A.M. Friday in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sheldon. Monsignor Louis Kollasch will officiate. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
Mr. Kaschmitter was born December 27, 1879, at Alton. He lived his youth at Alton where he attended school.
He married Katherine Kollasch April 27, 1925, at Whittemore. They made their home at Sheldon where he was employed at Iowa Public Service as an electrician for 40 years.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine; three daughters, Sister Burnita of Dubuque, Mrs. James (Jane) Kelly of Columbus, Nebraska, and Mrs. Paul Matthew of Cedar Rapids and 15 grandchildren
