Eloise J. Kramer, 62, of Des Moines, Iowa died Thursday, December 19, 1991 at Broadlawns Medical Center of smoke inhalation following a fire at her home.

Services were held on Sunday, December 22 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Ankeny, Iowa with burial in Ankeny Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Kramer was born in Rock Valley and lived in Marion, Ankeny and Dubuque before moving to Des Moines in 1984. She had been a teacher at Adams and Madison elementary schools in Des Moines and formerly in New Guinea. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Iowa State Education and Des Moines Teachers Associations.

Surviving are two sons, Scott of Dubuque and Tom of North Liberty; a daughter, Susan Church of Spring, Texas; her mother, Emma Miller of Rock Valley; three brothers, V.M. Miller of Hoopston, Illinois, Rodney Miller of Sac City and Paul Miller of Delmar; three sisters, Mary Jane Beasley of Tucson, Arizona, and Joyce Buckley and Mardel Olson, both of Littleton, Colorado; and two grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or Zion Lutheran or Holy Trinity Lutheran Churches.
