John (Phil) Kramer, 60, died Saturday, February 19, at his home at Humboldt, South Dakota.

Phil Kramer was born February 8, 1923, at Sioux Center to John and Jennie Kramer. He married Ruby Swanson on January 6, 1945. They moved to the Humboldt from Rowena, South Dakota in 1950.

Services were held Wednesday, February 23, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Humboldt. A prayer service was held the preceding night at the Miller Funeral Home in Sioux Falls.

Survivors are his wife, Ruby; two sons, Larry of Hartford and Lonnie of Humboldt; two daughters, Mrs. David (Carol) Lyon of Dunnell, Minnesota, and Shirley Kramer of Sioux Falls; five grandson; nine granddaughters; two brothers, G.J. Kramer of Garretson, South Dakota and Martin Kramer of Sioux Falls; eight sisters, Hattie Monster of Sheldon, Winnie Monster of Rush City, Minnesota, Elizabeth Van Duyn of Colton, Jennie Johnson of Sioux Falls, Henrietta Paulson of Valley Springs, Alice Park of Colman, Marge Harmelink of Rock Valley and Mary Van Der Vliet of Hull.

Phil Kramer was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
