Robert Charles Otis, 53, Fridley, MN, died Sunday, July 14, following a lengthy illness.
Services will be held Friday, July 19, at 1:30 p.m. at the Associated Church in Hawarden with the Rev. Fredrich Mellberg officiating. Robert is the son of Joseph Otis, founder of Otis Radio and the nephew of Roswell Otis.

He was a graduate of Hawarden High School. He married Charlene Uteck of Hawarden in 1953. He worked as a supervisor for Otis Radio in Hawarden for several years as well as other electronic companies in Iowa and Minnesota.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene; six children, Joseph, who lives in Connecticut, Randal of Georgia, Vicky, Steven, Susan and Robert all of Fridley, MN, and four grandchildren.
