Died: September 26, 1987Marge Kreykes, 88, died Saturday, September 26, 1987 at the Northwest Iowa Health Center of Sheldon.
Funeral services were at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, September 29 at the First Christian Reformed Church of Sheldon with Reverend Jerome Julien officiating.
Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery under the directions of the Andringa Funeral Home of Sheldon.
Pallbearers were Fred J. Kreyes, Arlin D. Kreykes, Loren P. Kreykes, Dennis Kreykes, Keith Kreykes and Rick Kreykes.
Marge Kreykes, daughter of John and Kate Roetman, was born September 21, 1899. She lived her youth and attended school at Hospers.
She married Fred N. Kreykes on February 5, 1920 at Hospers. Following their marriage they lived at Sheldon. Her husband passed away in 1950.
She is survived by four sons: John F. of Archer, Gerald and Elmer of Sheldon and Frank of Hospers; a daughter, Marjorie (Mrs. Jerold) Dykstra of Akron; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and a sister, Edith (Mrs. Don) Kraai of Orange City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and three sisters.
