Albert Kraayenbrink, 85, Sioux Center, died Monday in the Sioux Center Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Bethel Christian Reformed Church. The Reverend Duane Tinklenberg will officiate. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Kraayenbrink was born September 15, 1897 in the Netherlands. He came to the United States at the age of 14. He farmed all his life in Sioux County with exception of a few years in O'Brien County.

He married Bertha Wassink February 16, 1919 in Sioux Center. She died Oct. 5, 1975.

He was a member of the Bethel Christian Reformed Church where he had served as elder and deacon. He also served on the Christian School Board.

Survivors include one son, Arend of Ireton; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Aliyda) Donkersloot of Luverne, Minnesota, Mrs. John L. (Nellie) Rens of Rock Rapids and Mrs. Gerrit (Henrietta) Hoogland of Loveland, Colorado; one sister, Mrs. E. (Johanna) Kaemingk of Lynden, Washington; one brother, Ben of Sioux Center; 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Arrived in New York on 14 May 1912 from Rotterdam, Netherlands on ship Rijsdam.
