Death: October 9, 1966Mrs. Henrich Kraayenbrink, nee Virginia Oliver, 27, of Sioux Center, mother of three small children, passed away at the University hospital in Iowa City Sunday afternoon following a few weeks confinement with a blood ailment.
Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church here at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, with the Rev. Albert Ten Clay, officiating, and burial was made in the Sioux Center Community cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kraayenbrink was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Oliver of Sioux Center and a 1957 graduate of Sioux Center Community High School.
She and her husband and three small children - Dale, 6, Evan, 2, and Kaye Lynn, 1, - resided on a farm at the east outskirts of Sioux Center.
Mrs. Kraayenbrink was born at Rock Rapids, Iowa, March 13, 1939, but was a life-long resident of this community. She was married to Henrich Kraayenbrink October 2, 1959.
Surviving her besides her husband and three children are her parents and the following brothers and sisters: Kathleen (Mrs. Duane Gage) of Lester; Vivien (Mrs. Harold Ageson) of Lester; Ruth (Mrs. Ceel Van Den Brink) of East Lansing, Michigan; Jack Oliver of Sioux Center; Phyllis (Mrs. John Zeutenhorst) of Orange City; Shirley (Mrs. Butch Mouw) of Orange City; and Roger Oliver of Sioux Center.
Pall bearers were Dick Kraayenbrink, Alvin Kleinwolterink, Eugene Te Grotenhuis, Marvin Wiersma, Earl Bonnema and Marvin Van Muyden.
