Herman, son of Gerrit John and Jennie Klein, was born on Dec. 26, 1924 at Sioux Center, Iowa. He attended school and lived his youth in Sioux Center.

He was united in marriage to Beverly Schoen of Hudson, South Dakota on October 19, 1946 at Sioux City, IA. Their married life was lived in Sioux Center.

He passed away Thursday May 6, 1982 at his home at the age of fifty-seven years, four months and ten days.

He is survived by his widow Beverly, three sons, Randy of Le Mars, IA; Ronnie of Thurston, NE; Rodney of Carmel, IA; and one daughter, Bonnie at home; eight grandchildren; one brother, John of CA; and one sister, Kay (Mrs. George Day) of Minneapolis, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and an infant daughter.

Service: Sat. May 8, 1982 at Central Reformed Church of Sioux Center, IA.
