Curtis Loehr, 68, of Alton died Sunday in the Orange City Hospital.

Services were at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday in the United Presbyterian Church in Alton. The Reverend J. David Johnson officiated. Burial was in Nassua Township Cemetery.

Mr. Loehr was born December 13, 1914, in Webster County and attended school in Somers.

He married Neola Radcliff October 15, 1935 in Rockwell City. They lived in Somers until 1958 when they moved to Alton. He was employed by the West Iowa Telephone Company for 21 years. Retiring in 1979.

Mr. Loehr was a member of the United Presbyterian Church where he served as trustee and elder. He was a member of the Alton Fire Department for several years.

Survivors include his wife, Neola; four sons, Curtis Jr. of Orange Park, Florida, Russell of San Diego, Steven of Spencer and Richard of Alton; three brothers, Frank and Clifford both of Fort Dodge and Earl of Somers; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Zenor of Fort Dodge and nine grandchildren.
