Cornelius Klein Jr. usually known as Cornie, died at midnight Tuesday at the age of 22.

He was born November 12, 1911 on a farm six miles west of Sioux Center, attended country grammar school and was graduated from the local Christian school. He worked on the farm for a few years and after that on the road with a grading crew. He was married to Harriet De Jager on January 18, 1934, who now mourns his going.

On May 11 he was operated on for appendicitis and seemed well on the way to recovery when nephritis set in last Saturday. Too weak to withstand the disease he passed away on Tuesday of last week.

Cornie is survived by his young wife, his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Neal Klein, a brother and two sisters, Gertrude and Anna Mae.

Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home of his parents, and at 1:30 at the First Christian Reformed Church.
