Carl A. Klein, 78 a former Rock Valley resident, died recently in Honolulu, Hawaii while there on vacation. He was born and raised here and has lived the last 46 years at Sacramento, CA, where he was in the real estate business until retiring in 1942.

Surviving are his wife Ruth, three daughters and four grandchildren.

Mr. Klein's father was a homesteader here and served in the Civil War. He was a brother of Mrs. Lottie Thomas, a well-known Rock Valley resident who died several years ago.
