Died: April 28, 1953 Inwood, Iowa

Funeral services for Mrs. Jim Keizer were held in the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. Bobledyk, at Inwood and the First Reformed Church in Rock Valley on Friday May 1, at 2:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. Mat Duven, a former pastor at Inwood. She passed away Tues. April 28, in the home of her daughter. She had attained the age of 71 years, 7 months and 28 days. Mrs. Keizer's passing came after a long illness. Interment was made in Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley.

Mrs. Keizer was born at Santa Ana Friesland, the Netherlands, August 30, 1881. She grew to womanhood and was married in the Netherlands. Shortly following their marriage they came to America and later to Rock Valley. She lived in this community for 45 years. Mr. Keizer died about 15 years ago and since that time she had lived with her children. The last five months she had lived with her daughter Tillie, Mrs. Bobeldyk at Inwood.

She is survived by her six children, Mrs. Wren Rietsma, Sanborn; Mrs. Henry Bruegem, Hudson, S.D; Mrs. John Bobeldyk, Inwood; Mrs. Ray Buffington, Sheldon; Sam W. Keizer of Hudson, S.D; and Mrs Viola Menning of Archer, IA.

She is survived by 23 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. R. Terpstra, Union Grove, Wisconsin.
