Mrs. Ernest (Addie) Klein, 96 of Rock Rapids died Tuesday at a hospital in Rock Rapids.

Services were held Thursday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rock Rapids. The Rev. Arnold Imbrock officiated. Burial was in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hull under the direction of the Jongewaard-Roste Funeral Home of Rock Rapids.

Mrs. Klein, the former Addie Margaret Moeller, was born December 31, 1884, in Belle Plaine. She married Feb. 14, 1906 in Sioux Center. They farmed in the Rock Valley area for more than 22 years before moving to De Smet, S.D. They returned to the Hull and Doon area, moving to Sioux Falls, in 1933.

Mr. Klein died in 1950. In 1977 Mrs. Klein became a resident of the Rock Rapids Health Center.

Mrs. Klein was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Henry (Verna) Jantzen and Mrs. Marian (Sylvia) Hubers, both of Rock Rapids; Mrs. Sidney (Eleanor) Nelson of De Smet, S.D. and Mrs. Melvin (Viola) Kersbergen of Sioux Falls; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles of Sioux Center; and a sister, Mrs. Rose Winterfield of Sioux Falls.
