Ireton:
Mrs. Wyram Knowlton, 51, died at her farm home Sunday, after suffering a stroke earlier in the day.

Funeral services will be held at the home at 1:30 today (Thursday) and at 2 0'clock at the Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Ireton Cemetery.

Grace Leone Irwin, daughter of Hugh and Adaline Irwin, was born at Ireton August 21, 1902. She graduated from Ireton high school with the class of 1921 and she also attended Morningside College.

She was married to Wyram Knowlton, February 23, 1932 and to this union were born three children, Joan Belle, Clara Katherine, and Hugh Ellsworth.

She united with the Methodist Church when a young girl and was also a member of the Women's Society of Christian Service of that church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors are the widower; two children, Mrs. Joan Ashton of Anchorage, Alaska, and a son, Hugh, at home; her mother, Mrs. Hugh Irwin of Sioux City; a brother, Dr. Ralph Irwin of Santa Monica, CA; an uncle, Harry Sewick of Ireton, and a cousin, Miss Bonnie Sewick of Chicago. She was preceded in death by a daughter and her father.
