Died: December 28, 1971 Clinton, WisconsinMrs. Dick Kruizenga, 74, Clinton, Wis. a former Sioux Center resident, died Dec. 28, 1971 after a three month illness with canceer. Funeral services were held Dec. 31st with burial in Clinton.
The former Hattie Van Wyhe, she was born Oct. 4, 1897 at Perkins. She was married to Dick Kruizenga Sept. 14, 1919 at Perkins. They farmed near Sioux Center for ten years, then in Lyon County, before moving to Wisconsin in 1942. Mr. Kruizenga died Dec. 5, 1968.
Survivors include five sons, Eugene of Emerald, Wis. Erwin of Clinton, Alfred of Sharon, Wis, Melvin of Star Prairie, Wis, and Glenn of Darien, Wis.; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard Hahn Jr. of Clinton; five brothers, Jacob of Bradenton, Fla, William of Hull, IA, Lee of Kansas City, Mo. Arthur of Sioux Center, and Ben of Clinton, Wis; four sisters, Mrs. Bert Franken of Boyden, IA, Mrs. Jacob Sneller, Mrs. Nick Van Marel and Mrs. Gerrit Van Otterloo, all of Sheldon, Ia; 27 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
