Charles B. and Mrs. Hoeven attended the funeral of Mrs. Cornelius Idema of Mason City at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon. Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Idema died Sunday at the age of 91 and was one of the twin daughters of the pioneer Evert Hoevens, Alton residents many years ago. Mr. Idema died in 1914. Survivors are a daughter. Mrs. Elmer Starr of Mason City, two sons Dr. Arthur Idema of Sioux Falls and Dr. Evert Idema of Parkston, S. D. and one brother. Isaac Hoeven of Sioux Center. Also 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
