Died: March 13, 2007 Bonita Springs, Florida

Conn "Cornie" Schiebout was born February 21, 1928 at Sioux Center Iowa the son of Christian Theodore and Lena (De Groot) Schiebout. He graduated from the Sioux Center High School in 1945. He served with the U. S. Navy from October 1950-July of 1954. Following his service in the Navy Conn lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he owned Twin Trailer Sales and sold motor homes.

Following his retirement Conn made his home in Bonita Springs, Florida where he attended the First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs.

Conn died suddenly on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at his residence in Bonita Springs, at the age of 79 years.

He is survived by his brother, Chris Schiebout of West Olive, MI; two sisters, Anna Gesink of Grand Rapids, MI and Dinah Ter Horst and her husband Lawrence of Ireton, IA; also are numerous nephews and nieces.

Conn was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Ferd, Henry, Joe, Herman, Gerrit, Abe, Ben and infant twin brothers.

Funeral service: 11 a.m. March 17, 2007 at Porter Funeral Home, Ireton, IA.
