Lammert "Lawrence" Mol, 71, of Sioux Center died Monday at a Sioux Center hospital.

Services were at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 7 at the Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center. The Rev. Roderic Jackson officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Mol was born Aug. 4, 1909, in The Netherlands. He came to the United States and to the Sioux Center area with his parents at the age of six months.

He was a shoemaker in Sioux Center for 34 years.

Survivors include a brother, Clarence of Sioux Center, and three sisters, Henrietta Kuchenwriter, Jeanneta Van Holland and Johanna Mol all of Sioux Center.
