Father and Seven Other Children in Family Are All Sick

Roland, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. John Feikema residing six miles northeast of Hawarden, died at an early hour Tuesday morning following a brief illness from pneumonia. The seven other children in the family are sick with the measles and Mr. Feikema is very low with pneumonia, Relatives of the family are assisting in caring for them.

Roland Feikema was born Oct. 11, 1921, so was but 2 years, 3 months and 1 days old at the time of his death. Short funeral services were held at the home of Mr. Feikema's brother-in-law, John Gerritsma at Sioux Center this afternoon, and interment was made at that place. The Feikema family surely have the sympathy of the entire community
