Patricia K. Oelrich, 81, of Greeley, CO. died Jan. 15, 2001 at North Colorado Medical Center.

Funeral services were Sat. at First Congregational Church. Burial was at Fairmont Cemetery, Denver, CO.

Mrs. Oelrich was born Oct. 17, 1919, in Aurelia, the daughter of Earl and Gertrude (Leedom) Kiernan. She was raised in the Aurelia and Wakefield, NE. areas. She graduated from Alton High School in Alton in 1937. She graduated from Anchor Hospital School of Nursing in St. Paul, MN. in 1940. She married Carl D. Oelrich on June 4, 1953. She worked as a nurse in the Twin Cities and in Sioux Center.

She did volunteer and church work in Sioux Center. She enjoyed knitting and crossword puzzles and was a history buff.

Survivors include three daughters, Lynn Boeyink of Sioux Center, Mary Steerman of Castle Rock, CO. and Jean Goodnough of Sandy, UT; one son, Mike Oelrich of Blue Grass; two brothers, Max Kiernan of Alton, and Tom Kiernan of Savannah, GA. 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994.

Memorial gifts may be directed to that Transitional Care Unit at North Colorado Medical Center.
