Miguel Angel Beccerra Rodriguez, 23, Sioux Center, formerly of Jesus Maria, Aguas Calientes, Mexico, died Sunday, April 22, in Sioux City.

Services were Thursday, April 26, at Christ The King Catholic Church in Sioux Center, with Reverend Douglas Klein officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Jesus Maria, Mexico. Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center.

Michael Rodriguez, son of Jose Sotero Beccerra Vasques and Gloria Rachael Rodriguez Garcia, was born August 12, 1983, in Aguas Calientes, Aguas Calientes, Mexico, where he was raised and educated. At age 19, he made his way to the United States, to find employment to support his family in Mexico. He lived in California for six months before making his way to Nebraska. He settled in northwest Iowa, where he lived in Rock Valley and Sioux Center, while working in construction. He was employed with B&M Construction in Hull.

Survivors include his family in Mexico, two children, Maria Jaqueline Beccerra Hernandz and Miguel Angel Beccerra Hernandez; his children’s mother, Susenna Hernandez; his mother, Gloria Rodriguez Garcia; and three brothers, Juan Carlos Beccerra, Victor Manual Beccerra and Felipe de Jesus Beccerra.
