Harold Orval Johnson died Wednesday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Newman, after a few days illness from influenza. Funeral services were held at 3:00 this afternoon at Grace Hill cemetery, conducted by Rev. C. W. Heady of the Baptist church.

Harold Johnson was born at Center Pint, Iowa April 9, 1900. H had made his home the past six years with his uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. Perry Newman, residing southeast of Hawarden. He was taken sick on Sunday, Oct 13th, and gradually grew worse. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. F. L. Morehouse of Minneapolis, his sister Miss Opal Johnson of Omaha, Neb, and a brother, Louis Johnson who makes his home with Mr. and Mrs. Perry Newman. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved relatives.
