Mrs. Dorothy Harris 48, of 314 W. Sixth St., who had been a resident of Sioux City since 1942 died Saturday at a Sioux City hospital. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Doug Potter of the United Presbyterian Church in Laurel, Neb. Officiating. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery in Hawarden IA.

Pall bearers will be Lyle Enterkin, Clifford and Melvin Peterson, Loe Heilman, Nels Reynold and Ted Champlin.

Mrs. Harris, the former Dorothy May Jurgensen, was born May 25, 1925 in Hawaden, Iowa. She married Dan H. Carr in 1942 in Dakota City. She married Bud L. Harris in October 1960 in Luverne, MN.

Survivors include a son, Douglas Carr of Sioux City; two daughters Miss Deloria Jean Carr of Sioux City and Miss Donna Rae Carr of Long Beach CA; Three brothers, Milo Jurgensen of Los Angeles Ca, and Donald and Warren Jurgensen of Sioux Falls, S. D. Three sisters, Mrs. Peter Irma Allison and Mrs. Henry Ruth Guenther, both of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Harold Phyllis Stephenson of Alcester, SD. And three grandchildren.
