Roselyn K. "Posy" Plasier, 54 of Sioux Center died Sun. morning April 21, at her home of an extended illness.

Memorial services were Wed. at Covenant Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center with Rev. Herman Van Niejenhuis officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center.

Mrs. Plasier was born May 12, 1947 in Grand Rapids, MI. to Russell and Aleda G. (Vander Veen) Meyer. She was raised in Grand Rapids and attended Oakdale Christian School. She graduated from Grand Rapids Christian School and attended Calvin College. She married Leroy J. Plasier in Grand Rapids on April 12, 1969. The couple lived in Grand Haven, MI, until settling in Sioux Center in 1971. She graduated from Dordt College in Sioux Center in 1990, earning a teaching degree. She worked as a substitute and volunteer at Sioux Center Christian School. In 1991, she began teaching fourth grade at Sioux Center Christian.

Survivors include her husband, of Sioux Center; three sons, Michael of Sioux Falls, Eric of Destin, FL. and Tim of West Des Moines; her mother, of Grand Rapids; a sister, Judy De Young of Saranac, MI; and two nieces.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorials may be directed to Sioux Center Christian School.
