Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the American Reformed Church in Hull for Mrs. Maggie Schaffer, 82, a resident of Hull for several years, who died at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. G. Sawyer, Monday, following a lengthy illness.
Services were conducted by the Rev. H. Ringenoldus and burial was made at Pipestone, Minn. A brief service was held at the home of her daughter preceding the service at the church.
Mrs. Schaffer is survived by four sons and six daughters: Mrs. Grace Wallinga of Hull, Ed of Pipestone, Minn., Mrs. Ethel Hatfield and Mrs. Chas. Bayne (Josephine) of San Gabriel, Calif., Ben of Pipestone, Mrs. Gary (Margaret) Ramon of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Wm Hardover (Ella) of Chicago, Mrs. Chas. Sawyer (Irene) of Hull, and Larry of Los Angeles.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe, who passed away in 1928, and a daughter, May (Mrs. Alf Risvedt).
Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Sophia Scholten of Edgerton, Minn., and Mrs. Dick Koele of Hull; and four brothers, Will Synhorst of British Columbia, Canada, Dick of Brainerd, Minn., Herman of Clinton, Minn., and Garret of Larchwood, Iowa.
