Mrs. Ethel E. Moret, age 92, of Orange City, passed away Thursday, March 5 at the Orange City
Municipal Hospital.

Ethel Florence was born Aug. 23, 1894 at Hospers, the daughter of Richard Koolbeck and Nellie Te Stroete Koolbeck. On Oct. 10, 1916 she married Herman Cornelius Moret at Hospers. A few years later they moved to Orange City. In October of 1983 Mr. and Mrs. Moret became residents of the Heritage House in Orange City. Mr. Moret passed away June 18, 1984 at Orange City.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. William (La Vonne) Eyres of Santa Rose, Calif.; a son, Mitchel of Superior, Neb.; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a brother, James Koolbeck of Sun City, Ariz.; and a sister, Mrs. Sylvester (Harriet) Rensink of Boyden.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, "Jake" and Kenneth Koolbeck. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 10 at the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City. The Rev. Marlin Vander Wilt of the American Reformed Church officiated. Interment followed at West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City.
