Emma Moeller, 91, of Inwood, died Saturday, June 22,2002 at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls. Funeral service was Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Inwood with the Rev. John Wolf officiating. Burial was at Richland Cemetery.
Porter Funeral Home at Inwood was in charge of arrangements.

Emma Moeller was born Nov. 29,1910 on the Gayer homestead south of Rock Valley, to Fred and Alvina (Tank) Gayer. After graduating from high school and obtaining her normal training teaching certificate, she taught in country schools. On March 27, 1932 she married Charley Moeller at Peace Lutheran Church, south of Rock Valley. They farmed near Rock Valley and Inwood. Mrs. Moeller was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, including Ladies Aid and Circles and was 4-H leader for many years. Mr. Moeller died Aug. 23, 1990.

Survivors include: son Charles of Ortonville, Minn.; daughter, Eunice of Westfield, N.J.; brother Robert of Rock Valley; six sisters, Martha Dierks Gerlach of George, Iowa, Minnie Bauder of Hawarden, Esther Bauder of Rock Valley, Anne Wasser of Hawarden, Dorothy Villanneva of National City, Calif., and Marcia Heiden of Osage, Iowa; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley;
brother, Fred Gayer; and sister, Louise Heuer.
