Hawarden Independent August 20, 1914

Harry Le Roy Kennedy infant son of Mrs. Harry Kennedy died at Centerville Tuesday at the age of four months and 18 days. The body was brought to Hawarden yesterday and interment was made beside the body of his father in the Catholic cemetery. It will be remembered that the babe’s father was drowned in the Sioux River a little less than a year ago. The bereaved mother has the sincere sympathy of everyone in her sad four.
