Born: April 24, 1973 Sioux Center, Iowa
Died: July 27. 1991 South of Hawarden, Iowa

Steven James Rensink, 18, of Ireton, was found dead Sun. September 29, south of Hawarden. He died July 27, 1991.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Thurs. Oct. 3, at First Reformed Church in Ireton with Rev. Steven Bakker officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Rensink was born April 24, 1973 in Sioux Center. He would have been a senior at West Sioux High School in Hawarden, where he was involved in wrestling. He worked at Coilcraft Inc. of Hawarden.

He was an active member of First Reformed Church of Ireton, including RDYF.

Survivors include his parents, Phillip and Millie Rensink of Ireton; a brother and his wife, Donald and Cindy Rensink of Ireton; four sisters, Vicki and her husband Tom Murren, of Hawarden, Rachel, Cathy and Melinda Rensink, all of Ireton; paternal grandparents, Dick and Megdelena Fedders of Sioux Center; maternal grandmother, Catherine "Kate" Vande Kieft of Inwood; three nephews and one niece.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Marinus Vande Kieft and William Rensink, and a brother-in-law, Marty Coleman.
