Mrs. Sarah Ellen Andrews died at her home in Ireton December third 1907 from cancer of the lungs after several years of suffering. Deceased was born at Highland Wisconsin June ninth 1851 and was therefore fifty six years and five months old. She came to Iowa in 1870 and was married to James Andrews at Sioux City in 1873. He died fourteen years ago. Two children were born to them, both of whom survive. They are Alonso and Luke of Ireton.

She also leaves two brothers Alex and James McDougal of Struble and a sister Mrs. Edwards of Ireton. Deceased was a member of the Relief Corps and the Methodist church. Rev. Taylor of Ireton conducted the funeral services after which interment was made at Le Mars.
