Relatives in Sioux Center and Orange City received the sad news early Monday morning of the death of Mrs. John Hofland, who passed away at her home during the night. She was buried in West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City.

She is the former Lena Kraayenbrink, daughter of Hendrik and Alyda (Nyman) Kraayenbrink. She married John Hofland on February 14, 1928.

Survivors include her husband, John Hofland; and five brothers and sisters; Johanna , Aren’t, Albert, Henry and Ben.
