Miss Josephine, 93, Rock Valley, died July 17 in a Rock Valley Nursing Home.

Services were at 10:30 A.M. July 20 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Rock Valley. The Rev. William Wingert officiated. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery; under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home.

Miss Sandschulte was born December 11, 1887, in Rock Valley. She worked as a bookkeeper.

Miss Sandschulte was the last remaining survivor of the Sandschulte family. Her father came by wagon train from Tennessee in 1882 and helped build the town of Rock Valley.

There are no immediate survivors.

Note:Her parents were Bernard and Mary (Tarp) Sandschulte.
