Mrs. Mulder Dead

The grim reaper cut off the life of Mrs. D. A. Mulder last Sunday morning [April 22]. Mrs. Mulder had come to town a week before to care for her daughter who was down with scarlet fever at the home of Albert Van Otterloo. She was taken sick with the disease Wednesday. From the first there was little hope for recovery at any time. All that medical skill could do proved of no avail.

She passed away at the age of fifty-seven. With her husband, Mrs. Mulder came from Maurice and made their home on the old Peter McKellar farm six miles southeast of town. The burial took place Monday forenoon. Services were held in the Christian Reformed church of which the deceased was a faithful and consistent member, Sunday afternoon Rev. Heynen, pastor, officiating. The Bee extends sincere sympathy to the bereaved ones, especially the aged husband upon whom the blow falls most heavily.
