From the Rock Valley Bee, April 20, 1906: Hull Happenings:

The chronicler is sorry to publish the news of the sad death of Mrs. Oto Bouma. She leaves a family of little children, some of whom are down with scarlet fever. She passed away Sunday night and was buried Tuesday, Rev. Fortuin officiating. Her death was caused by a complication of childbirth and scarlet fever.

From the Sioux Center Nieuwsblad, April 18, 1906: Hull:

Translation:
Mrs. O. Bouma is no more. Sunday night [April 15 or 16] the angel of death came into the house and took her away from the midst of her family, where she will be sorely missed by husband and children [or something like that]. She had been ill for some time with scarlet fever, when the time came that she gave birth to a little one, which caused her death. May the grieving man find solace in the thought that comes from an all-wise Father who does not desire to plague him, that "all things work together for good to them that trust in him."

From the Alton Democrat, April 21, 1906:
Mrs. Bouma wife of O. Bouma living on the Fred Wagner farm passed away last Monday morning [Aril 16] after a brief illness. She gave birth to a baby boy last Friday and soon after was taken with the scarlet fever. Dr. Cram of Sheldon was here Sunday in consultation with Dr. Werkman the attending physician and everything was done that could be done but she grew rapidly worse. She leaves a husband and five small children to mourn her loss. The remains were laid at rest in Hope cemetery Tuesday.

The Sioux County Cemetery Index has Bouma, Tryntje, b. 18 Mar 1875, d. 16 Apr 1907, wife of O., Hope Cem Hull IA. The entry for her on findagrave.com also gives the death year as 1907. Nevertheless, this is probably her. No O. Bouma appears in the SC Cemetery Index.
