Mrs. John Hofland, 69, died Saturday at a Hartley hospital. Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Christian Reformed Church in Sanborn. The Rev. John Sittema officiated. Burial was in the West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City under the direction of the Sanborn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hofland, the former Cornelia Kleyn, was born Feb. 10, 1911, at Sioux Center. She married Mr. Hofland on Jan. 9, 1945, at Luverne, Minn. They farmed near Sanborn until 1975 when they moved into the city. She was a member of the Netherlands Reformed Church at Rock Valley.

Survivors include the widower; five sons, John of Hartley, Henry of Sanborn, Arlyn of Sioux City, Gary of. Fairfield, Calif., and John of Sioux Center; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Verna) Zevenbergen of Ocheyeden and Mrs. Duane (Alyda) Muilenberg of Orange City; 22 grandchildren; one brother, Cornelius Kleyn of Rock Valley; six sisters, Mrs. Herman Garretson, Grace Kleyn, Mrs. John Rietamp and Marie Kleyn all of Rock Valley; Mrs. Herman Kruid of Sioux Center and Mrs. Jasper Veldhuiven of Steen, Minn.
